Volume I covering Asia published in 1822 is comprised of 396 numbered pages. Many topics are covered in the volume including just to name a few--Jerusalem, Chinese History, Asiatic Beauties, Asiatic mechanical inventions and discoveries, extraordinary Asian men and women.

Volume 3 covering America published in 1823 is comprised of 346 numbered pages. Many topics are covered in the volume including just to name a few--several cities including New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Washington and Pittsburgh, the Capital in Washington, Mount Vernon, Yellow Fever in Philadelphia, North American Indian Customs including Indian War Dance, Indian Anger, Revenge & Eloquence, Indian Cruelty and its punishment, by the hand of Mrs. Dunstan, Indian Cruelty, and the intrepidity of Mrs. Heard, Indian Gratitude, rare phenomena of nature including rainbows, meteors and mock suns, etc., mechanical inventions peculiar to America including the Fulton Steam Frigate, the Great American Canal, extraordinary men and women, chiefly of American birth including men of genius and enterprise.

Volume 4 covering Europe published in 1825 is comprised of 473 numbered pages with many topics on Europe similar in scope to the previous two volumes.

All three volumes are in fine over-all condition with some surface wear to the bindings, toning to the pastedowns in front and back of all three volumes and partial loss to the last blank free page in volume 4.
