DETAILED DESCRIPTION:I am offering a very rare and very cross-collectible one-of-a-kind early signed Nelson-Silvia custom made Western Americana fancy dress belt buckle created from solid sterling silver and 10K yellow gold, signed Nelson Silvia Co. Sterling 10K Houston. Nelson Silvia belt buckles are comparable to many famous American silversmithsof the era, re: Soulages, Vogt, Clint Orms and Bohlin.

This very unisex belt buckle features a seldom seen Judaica subject matter with a bold six point Star of David created in solid 10K yellow gold, features an *M* or *W* in 10K yellow gold depending on how you wear the buckle. The entire rope perimeter is created from solid 10K yellow gold as well, lots of gold was used in creating this rare treasure. All of the ornate engraving work is done by hand with light shadowing to bring out the beauty of the sterling and gold contrast.

FYI: Nelson-Silvia Co. Houston Texas was founded by William Nelson in 1941 during WWII, there is quite a bit of history regarding this famous Western Americana silversmith, I have enclosed some info, please view photos. Nelson Silvia Co. created some of the most highly sought after Rodeo buckles with prices going into the thousands on todays market for rarity custom made buckles of several designs. During the 1950's, the Golden Age of Hollywood Westerns many celebrities had custom made buckles created from Roy Rogers, John Wayne to James Arness. This exceptional and very handsome belt buckle can be worn by a man or a woman, it is very unisex. Measures just under 4" across, 3 7/8" to be exact x 2 3/4", slightly convex for comfort, created for a leather belt 1 1/2" or less and weighs 74.3 grams.
