The first of the two stories is “Red Murder”, in both its original Cover as well as a highly sought after variant “B” cover.
“Red Murder” is the story of a comic creator who based one of his characters after his brother, and names him Red Murder. The axe wielding, masked character popularity takes off and becomes a huge success. As the comic creator’s own fame becomes eclipsed by his creation, the real Red Murder arrives…
This is followed by Slay Ride, where a delusional, enraged man in a Santa costume goes on a rage-filled killing spree, and paints the town red- not in a festive way.
Complete with twist endings, a shocking amount of gore compared to Goosebumps or Fear Street, and fantastic story telling, this new medium shows an even darker side to R.L. Stine’s work than ever seen before.
