A cute specimen displaying gem spessartinegarnets with quartz crystals, standing attractively over the white base offeldspar from Tongbei, Fujian Province, China. The spessartine crystals to 5 mmhave a rich red color. They have a sharp trapezohedral habit and a glassyluster. The quartz crystals are sharp, lustrous, transparent and clear with alight smoky color. In very good condition – back small nicks and contacts.
