My home is filled with humongous art pieces I have created using one yard pieces of vintage mod textiles...which suits my mid century ranch vibe perfectly...it is the easiest and funnest way to use these vintage textiles...the sky is the limit how you create it...what kinds of matting...what kind of frame...adding extra color pops in extra matting etc etc...check my instagram page for my works of art that I am sure will inspire you at Floridabungalowfabrics!
This offering is for 2.3YDS x 45 inches wide of unused unwashed cotton LIGHTWEIGHT fabric with a ease of movement and texture...not heavy or nubby or textured really...would be suitable for clothing or framing as art...if you lined it...it would be ok for light upholstery. for pieces like this I like to use an iron on stabilizer as it magically just makes it upholstery grade. A kaleidoscope of yellow...with dark blue lines. A wonderful example of period fabrics that are Pucci-like...and were used to create mad fashion in the mid century. Flawless.
