Prussian One-Year-Volunteer’s Kugelhelm with Parade bush (Id’d). Helmet leather body is in very good condition and shows minor wear. It does have one small spot where a loss of leather can be noted. The hardware is all gilt with the exception of the silver-toned Garde Star. The state and Reich’s kokarden are both present, so, this is a post 1897 helmet. The full white horsehair parade bush is attached to the trichter. Helmet appears to be private-purchase due to details on helmet interior (basically does not have any depot marks and has a normal enlisted man/NCO leather liner). Interior also has size label of “55 1/2”. Tag ids the original owner, however, the tag has come loose from helmet (still have the tag that goes with the helmet, just loose and no longer attached in helmet). Overall a great looking Kugelhelm that displays very well.
