And by this, I mean era and pipes made before big changes happened sometime in 1980s. This outstanding pipe belongs to that era. It bears "AA" old grading (second highest grading) and it's a "Straight Grain" series pipe. As you can see, pipe has fantastic straight grain and it's missing only on the frontal side, otherwise it would've been an AAA grade. Smooth natural finish, very pleasant brown tone. Shape in question is a Bent with masculine and pronounced bowl. Thicker chamber walls; while chamber itself is not very wide, but is deeper. There're small pinch curves on shank, small detail just to separate it from a clean cut. Vulcanite saddle stem, unfiltered. Pipe comes with full original package, and it was barely used, as new condition. Just a slight color loss of white "W" logo on stem.
