Offered Here is a pair of Antique Sculptural Heavy Metal Table Lamps with a Bronze Finish by French Artist Ernest Rancoulet (1870-1915).
These depict a young maiden and gentleman and are titled Meeting at the Fountain by Rancoulet (in French) on a bronze plaque on the front of each wooden plinth.
The lamps measure 26" in total height and have original double pull chain sockets. The sculptures stand a little over 16" in height and a re both signed in the casting for Rancoulet.
The boy needs to be tightened up on the plinth and has a slight lean. They are both in working order but you may want to have them rewired as the plug on one cord was spliced.
A truly wonderful antique pair of table lamps that need minor restoration.
