This 4.25\" x 6.5\" cabinet card photo was produced for, or sometime after, the Inauguration of President Benjamin Harrison which occurred on March 4, 1889. It notes it as \"Presidents of the Century\" because that 1889 Inaugural was the 100th anniversary of when George Washington took his first oath as this country\'s initial President. It therefore shows all of the previous presidents and includes Ben, who was just starting out the new 100 years of American Chief Executives, which ran up to George H. W. Bush. These cards where held by patriotic folks as commemorations of that special occurrence in U.S. history.
This is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge condition for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. Remember, folks, this stuff\'s called ephemera because it was made to be used and then thrown away.
