Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped throughthe US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than thoseestimated by either or the USPS tracking tool.
Here is a group of 5 decorative polished clam shells (two different types).These are whole shells, where both halves have been glued together.
The two larger oblong shells (I forget what type of clam they were from), havea lustrous, mother-of-pearl appearance and have somehow beendyed ... one pink, and one aqua green-blue.The blue-green shell has an indent on one end of one side of the shellwhich had occurred naturally (shown close up in photo #6)These oblong shells measure about 4.5\" long by 2.5\" to 3\" wide.The other three clam shells, which are more round shaped, havea creamy, off-white to pale yellow main color with deep rose coloredaccenting - one only has a small bit of the rose color at one end.These measure from about 2.5\' to nearly 3\".
These have been used as decorative accents and part of centerpieces.This use (plus storage between uses), has resulted in some of thethin edges of two the shells being chipped or broken off.These two shells are the dyed pink oblong shell and the roundershell with the least rose color on it. Photos #9 and #10 are close-ups ofthe broken edge of the pink oblong shell.Photos #15, #16, and #17 are close-ups of the chipped/broken edgeof the palest of the rounder shells..I try to describe andphotograph items as thoroughly as possible but should you have any questions please ask

I usually only dust items off with a soft brush but do not actually aggressively clean them ....
