Original, extremely scarce, Saturday, September 4, 1880 issue of The Drill newspaper out of Pinal City, Pinal County, Arizona Territory. 4 pp. This weekly paper, which began on May 15, 1880, was short-lived with it\'s last issue at the end of that year on December 25, 1880.Only 32 issues were printed. Pinal City was a silver mining town that was founded in 1878 and abandoned in 1891. It is a ghost town today. Wyatt Earp\'s ex-wife Mattie Blaylock is buriedin the old town cemetery. A view of the town in 1880 is attached in the photos (for reference only).
