Pilot designed FA Falcon Nib to be used for people who like line variations and soft nibs. So when you press on this nib, the nib will allow flex capability and a degree of line variation. Originally Pilot does not make a FA or Falcon nib on this particular pen, the only available nib option Pilot sells are F or M. However this case is special. We had an extra Pilot Custom 742 with Falcon Nib that came in from 2nd hand sale and realized its the same Size #10 Nib So we switched the Nib between Pilot Custom 742 with Pilot Togidashi Aka Fuji with F nib originally to create a unique piece for the Engeika sale so you can offer on a Truly unique Item We hope you enjoy this pen as much as we enjoy customizing this pen!
