Description

This pendant as a Hopi pictomark; as seen in the pictures.

Personally, I do not know this makers mark.

This pendant is not marked for the silver content, but is has been tested and verified as solid sterling silver.

This pendant has a silver overlay design meaning two sheets of silver have been fused together.

Hopi artists do this by cutting out the design and applying to another of sheet of silver.

They heat both pieces up together without the use of silver solder and fuse them together.

This is hard skill and high risk when making pieces which makes their pieces so deseriable.

This pendant is in good pre-owned condition with tarnish.

DO NOT DIP THIS PENDANT INTO SILVER CLEANER.

Part of the design is the darken parts of the pendant.

If you wish to clean or polish this piece, then please only use a polishing cloth.
