The tragedy of the Titantic did not deter him from a career on the seas. Family also states that Mortimer was with his governess at that time and sometimes children’s name was not on the passenger list.****

Please NOTE:  This message is a quote from an er: “ Unfortunately Mortimer Cobb lied about bringing a survivor of the Titanic. This has happened many times with people who wanted attention in the news. The earliest mention of his claim was made by him in 1982. He’s not on the Titanic passenger list, the Carpathia rescue manifest.”

It is the family history that I am quoting about being a survivor.  Many of his genealogy items were given to a genealogy foundation in the area.  Family has said that the Captain of the Carpathia took Mortimer under his wings.  I had read somewhere among his many items that what he remembered was he was very cold and had no hat.  

I am not stating he is or is not as a fact a survivor of the Titanic , but that is what the family history states.ACCORDING TO FAMILY HISTORY.
