I was fortunate to acquire a Peterson pipe collection recently which included the complete set of unsmoked Pipes Of The Year (POTY). So far, I have been able to find homes for the years 1997 to 2009. I am now looking forward to offering pipes from the next decade (2010-2020) and filling more holes in some of my Pete freek friends\' collections.
The Peterson 2010 Pipe Of The Year is the one POTY pipe that I like in the sandblast just as well as the smooth terracotta finish. The grain is absolutely amazing, and when it is finished in jet black it becomes even more appealing. Pairing this to a black, bent fishtail stem and a hallmarked, Sterling silver band arrangement further proves my point. This beautiful bent Billiard starts with a rugged look, flowing into pure elegance at the end, and doing so quite effortlessly. Is the 2010 missing from your POTY collection? If so, wow, what a great opportunity to fill that hole with one that is new, unsmoked and in mint condition! This gorgeous pipe will be securely shipped in its own original eight inch tall gold box, seen in the above photos. It has been cleaned, sanitized and made ready to enjoy upon arrival.
