This Andean textile is 100% baby alpaca, handmade using a backstrap loom in the highlands of Peru. This is a scarf or can be used as a table runner for decoration.

Handmade near the town of Calca by the wonderful lady in the 2nd photo. She was sitting alone at a little known/visited archaeological site near Calca. She told me that she comes everyday and maybe 1 tourist will come per day to visit the site.
