Vintage, handpainted lambskin leather scroll, depicting the ancient Persian godsArdvi Sura Anahita (Goddess of wisdom and fertily), andHvar Ksata (God of the full sun)

Very good vintage condition with minimal paint cracking; lambskin supple and very soft
Actual artwork dimensions: 14"L x 8.25"W
Wooden rod length: 12.75"
Not sure if the number 41 (or 47?) on back refers to the numbered painting in a series or is a lot number for the animal hide itself
Cord appears to be a replacement for probable leather original strap
Some stretching and fraying at stress points commensurate with age
Wooden rods could be treated with conditioner to restore sheen, if desired (I generally favor preservation of patination, leaving buyer the choice)
