You will be purchasing a very old statue of Perseus who slew the first and most powerful Medusa, cutting off her head with the sword of the Gods. Perseus was the son of Zeus. On loan to him by the God\'s were winged sandals and a sword from Hermes, his helmet of invisibility from Hades, and Athena loaned him the shield (not included in the statue). All for the love of his woman.This beautiful statue measures about 20 3/4\" inches tall. There is so much detail on this beautiful piece, the pictures just don\'t do it justice.
