Having traveled the Black Hills when he was young his decision to move West and literally climb on board the western life style has garnered Bob tremendous success. Schooled at Otis-Parsons Institute of Fine Art in L.A. his award winning works have been shown at the Autry Center Masters of the American West, Cour D'Alene Art sale, Scottsdale Art sale, featured in Art of the West and many more. His painting of Russell means hang permenantly in the National portrait Gallery Smithsonian, and these rodeo posters are in the collection of the Library of Congress.Bob sums up his work saying "I thought the old west was gone but it's alive hiding in small corners of our country trying desperately to hang on and not be forgotten.
