When you do find one they are often weather having been exposed to the elements they are often cracked, chipped, stained and even if you find one that has the classic double-termination they are often milky in color or have internal deposits of dark colored mineral.

Chain of custody: Friend of the family passed these along to myself as a gift in 2021. They were mined in 1930s-1960 before land went private.
