Newspapers for very special occasions

From our massive archive of newspapers we can with99.9% certainty match your special gift occasion be itbirth-date,anniversary, gold,, silver, diamond, ruby, even paper.

No matter what the headlines or content the mostimportant content is THE DATE. To the recipient that date isvery special.

Receiving such a gift is the opportunity to searchfor the exciting or mundane stories, read the gossip, understand the prejudicesof the period, gasp at the fashions and recall names of the great and small andgood, bad and sometimes evil.

To help preserve this newspaper the tissue we useis acid free but still the newspaper is vulnerableand deserving ofgreat care. Therefore no sunlight and not to be exposed to hightemperatures. For centuries our priceless history has beenpreserved intact by libraries, universities and colleges andmuseums. However progress demanded that we preserve our newspaperhistory by microfilming. This was done and the decades of historywere simply dumped. Microfilmed editions it was discoveredhad a far far shorter life than the original and digital storage was decidedwas the perfect solution. Sadly the hardware and necessarysoftware becomes quickly dated and keeping storage systemsaccessible requires vigilance and continued investment.

The original vintage newspaper is endangered.

We have briefly outlined the history of thevandalized newspaper because we are emphasizing the importance of preservingthis totally irreplaceable historical resource. There is no better place thanin the security of individuals and families and the more newspapers andmagazines find their way to such homes the less likely that progress willdestroy what remains.

And who knows the content might now or in thefuture attract collectors, researchers or historians anxious to locate an onlyremaining copy.

To whom it may concern-----“read happily and pleasetake care of this precious newspaper”
