This lovely Early 88 variantplated with Silver Measures 5 ¼ inch capped, 4 ½ inch uncapped and 6 1/8inch posted. This silver-plated version, manufactured in the UK 3rdquarter of 1993, is called Corinth due to the lined design to look like theCorinth columns in Place Vendome in Italy. It uses a slide piston converter(included installed) which can be removed if you prefer to use Parkercartridges instead. Nib is gold plated steel, marked F on the back of the feed..The 88 line is a natural follow on to the vector line and 95 models which cameout at about the same time Pen is in excellent condition, showing minimumsurface scuffing, no brassing, no dents or noticeable scratches. No obviousbite marks, though there are a few tiny marks on the black end section of thebarrel. Can’t say for sure they are bite marks and they are too small to showup on the photographs, I can find no indications that this pen has been used,no residual ink etc, but not being the original owner I must call it used.

Ifyou are offerding on a lever fill fountain pen, remember that to fully fill thesac, after immersing the nib and a little of the section in ink and returningthe lever to its closed position, count to ten before withdrawing the pen fromthe ink, to give the sac enough time to fill.
