History of Pappy & Jimmy's Lobster Shack:Pappy & Jimmy's Lobster Shack was an iconic Memphis restaurant established in 1947 by Lehman C. "Pappy" Sammons and his business partner Jimmy Mounce. Known for its quirky decor, including clocks, guns, and even Amelia Earhart's flying boots, the restaurant was a beloved local institution. It attracted celebrities like Tyrone Power, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Dizzy Dean, and Yogi Berra.
