A pair of salvaged antique Victorian silk cuffs in a springy lime green color...
Displayed in a variety of ways, this pair of Victorian silk cuffs is useful for a number of applications,including doll costuming, embellishment of apparel, pillows, sachets, etc. It features a slightly embossed geometric pattern to the ruched and pleated fabric, and is finished off with slightly fanned ends.
Each cuff measures ~14&3/4\" long and ~2\" wide with slight variation and give due to the pleats, and is finished all around the front with some aspects of the backside having unfinished edges apparent as shown in the photos.
In overall very good condition considering age, with very mild soilage, storage wrinkles, inconsistent agediscoloration/yellowing with a few small light spots, mild fraying along the unfinished edges, occasional scraggly threads with some unraveled stitches which can be addressed, and a few small breaks which are not readily apparent and can also be addressed.
