This is a vintage Pennsylvania Railroad #6489 J-1 2-10-4 Steam Locomotive Number Board Plate and original Glass backing. The glass backing is clear glass with blackened stains from years of use (I no longer have any more with the white milk glass). I was told that this rare railroad memorabilia was salvaged many years ago from the Columbus, OH area "Bone Yard". The plate and glass are in very good condition. Plate does have light paint loss and slight bends (see photos)--this is well expected for something this old. See photos for actual item. Number Board measures about 12x5 inches.
