The Promotion cards were largely producedsince early 1990s and continued about almost 20 years. Some of the promo cardswere handed out by manufactuers, while some of the promo cards were insertedinto the released different cards series packs and essentially a chase cardratio ( these promo cards tend to be hard to find). When online tradingbecame the dominant force, the promotion card release ahead of the officialcard series embargo turn out to pointless. To some extent, Promo cardcollection itself is reflecting part of the evolution of trading cards in thepast 30odds years.
