FOLK ART PAINTED PINEAPPLE WOODEN PLATE THAT IS 15 & 1/2” across. The plate is wooden and has a beautiful painted WELCOMING PINEAPPLE that looks so real. Around the outer edge of the plate is painted a checkerboard edge in a dark primitive gold color. The inside of the plate where the pineapple is shown is black with a slight splattering of brownish paint. The back of the plate is a primitive golden color. This item still has the sticker from The Hearthside Collection. This item comes from my home as I am downsizing due to age.

This is a beautiful piece of decor to add to your home. The pineapple is the Welcoming Sign throughout colonial times and this is a perfect addition to your home or office. No flaws are noted. A hanger is not on the item; however, a plate hanger could be used or one of the new peel and stick hangers would work. I had the plate sitting on my table so a hanger was not used.
