My father began this back in 1972 and we took over in 2000.These samples were collected with the permission of the land owner and under the guidance and supervision of local members and proper authorities.In 1908 Pennhurst opened its doors as a facility to house people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who were deemed unfit for society. It was intended to house no more than 500 residents, but it was overcrowded from the start.Within just a few years Pennhurst was underfunded, understaffed, and overcrowded. As early as July 29th, 1913 there were reports of abuse. It was finally closed in 1987 after investigations uncovered torturous conditions. Throughout its 79 years of operation, about 10,600 people lived there. About half died in the institution, many due to the poor living conditions.Now it is considered by most paranormal investigators to be one of the most haunted places in America due to so much tragedy. This comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity. Your picture will not have a watermark on it.Keep in mind this should be treated with respect. Some items may have attachments.
