PROCIONE (1905)
She was of the PERSEO class/series of Italian sea-going steam powered torpedo built between 1904 and 1909. They served in the Italo-Turkish War and the First World War and continued in use until the 1920s.
They were of 164\' in length and a beam of 17.5\' and draught of 5\'.7 to 5.9\'. 2 x vertical triple-expansion steam engines, coal-fired, 25 knots and complement of 3 officer and 32-39 men.
The PEGASO was built at Pattison, Naples and launched 12 August 1905.
Discarded 4 March 1923.
