This daguerreotype features a large group of children on a sleigh pulled by horses. Were they on their way to school? Snowy hills are visible behind them as well as an arrow sign pointing in the direction that went.

The 1/6 plate has been professionally resealed with new glass by a previous owner and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. There are a few minor pings at the edges that can only be seen when held at certain non viewing angles and have probably been there since the day it was made. The top half of the case is slightly warped.
