Original Authentic 1939 11th Annual Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (Oscars) Table Paperweight Miniature Statuette. Made of Pewter From my research these were given out to each nominee and set at each place setting at the 11th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony at the Biltmore Hotel honoring 1938 motion pictures. Winners that year included Spencer Tracy, Bette Davis and Frank Capra. Different table Oscars were given as gifts for only the 1935 and 1939 Academy Awards. Condition: overall Very Good. Soft pewter and there are some scratches on the base and one edge of the round part that looks flatted out. Around the ankles in front there are tiny cracks. I have not tried cleaning it at all. 3 1/4\" tall and 2 1/2\" wide
