MILSCO 1944 1907 sling. Used for for US service rifles like the M1 Garand and 1903 Springfield.
This is a display sling only. Leather is soft and supple but definitely shows its age. I would not use it for slinging a rifle on your shoulder. It has a sewn repair at a stress point where a crack went all the way through ( see pictures) . There is other cracking in various places but does not go through the leather. It also has an interesting black painted finish on the steel parts that looks like it may be original even though it’s atypical. This will install and look good on a wall hanger but is not good for actual use. Please ask any questions or for more pictures before offerding. Sold as is. No returns accepted.
