Lively, deep, articulated. The light effect created by Joy expands across its beehive structure made up of 30 modular thin blades which offer surprising full and empty effects by drawing clean lines and profiles and by following predestined bends that sometimes meet up. The clear plastic finds a new glamour appeal in the combination of an extremely modern formal expression with the use of a sophisticated construction technology.
The lamp is designed by two well known designers.
Paolo De Lucchi was born in 1962 in Padova, where he lives and works at the moment. He graduated with degree in Architecture in 1989 at the Politecnico of Milano.In the same year he started working on various architecture,interior and industrial design projects in Sottsass Associati .Between 1993 and 1997 he collaborated with Michele De Lucchi studio as project leader, co-ordinating many interior design projects.Giorgia Paganini was born in Padova in 1967 where she currently lives and works. She has a degree in architecture from the I.U.A.V. of Venice in 1998. In 1999 she started working for the Eidon Studio of Treviso where she participated in the design and development of stands, shops and showrooms for various companies. In 2002 she began working for the De Lucchi studio of Padova where she took part in the development of industrial designs in the field of lighting and furnishing components.PHILOSOPHYA meeting point of lights, colours, marks and innovative materials together with the transparency and the glass reflections in the products: this is the main feature of FdV • Alt Lucialternative, brand division of Firme di Vetro. Not sure if this is a ceiling mount that needs a kit or floor lamp that would require a tri pod? I am selling AS/IS.Condition:Good condition solid, no cracks or breaks. There are scuffs, dull areas, and scratches throughout. I have cleaned the dust off. Please see the pictures. Otherwise it's beautiful lighting.
