Heavy old 3 1/4\" x 2 1/4\" bronze paperweight in the form of a stylized turtle, a wide-eyed but reclusive individual, legs and tail pulled in, with deeply incised geometric designs covering the shell. The pattern looks to me to be Mayan-influenced, but what do I know? It\'s not common, and is very appealing, the pattern primitive but precise, the surface darkening uniformly. It sits flat. Unsigned. Excellent condition; no dents, cracks, scratches, or repair.Thank you for looking, and forwading through the fine print.
