My collection has reached critical mass and thus I am letting go of quite a chunk of it. I\'ll be listing a lot of fantastical pieces so please check my listings for more!This piece is probably no newer than 1875. Let that sink in. This kimono is absolutely glorious. Thicc, chewy chirimen silk; and almost the whole of it is padded. Beautiful paint work on this piece; gold embroidery on it even. Crests on this one are absolutely massive. Check the quarter test. These are dollar coin phat crests. She is OLD. Look how black the body still is; look how amazing the colors are on this girl. There\'s only a few small marks. The worst thing she\'s got is a few minor holes in her back midsection. This is NOT degradation. This is probably from someone\'s nails tying an obi or something because it\'s RIGHT at that level. I don\'t ever do this, but I uploaded a video just to show that the silk around these little spots are strong AF. This piece isn\'t going anywhere.
I\'m asking a very fair price on this piece. I\'ve seen pieces of this era be in a state of near rags go for far more than I\'m asking. This piece is fantastic. I\'m really more a Taisho, early Showa-girl on my tastes and that\'s the only reason I\'m testing the waters on selling this one. Also she takes up a lot of space because she\'s padded to the hills and puts a hikizuri to absolute shame.No bad smells. Superb piece.

I do not deal with customs forms at all, this is just a side thing I do for enjoyment, and international shipping just gives me really big anxiety.
