This is an original WWII U.S. PAL RH36 Fighting and Utility Knife with Scabbard. The knife was manufactured in the United States and is a unique piece of militaria. It features a scabbard and is in its original form, making it a great addition to any collection. The knife's brand is PAL and it was produced during World War II (1939-45). The knife is a great representation of the United States' military history and is a must-have for collectors of edged weapons.

Blade is marked PAL RH36, made in USA. Blade has wear and evidence of previous sharpening. Scabbard has fluer de lis embossing and a rose. The handle has a couple of dings in the stacked leather and the pommel is slightly loose or it pivots a little on the attaching pin. The thumb snap is all the but the snap is stuck on the button and needs to be pinched back.

A very nice blade, estate fresh from a USMC vet. The pommel has a notch on it, if it could only tell stories.
