You are offerding on abeautiful, stunning piece of historical memorabilia. This is an original 1918 dated certicate for a member of the Officers Reserve Corps of the Army of the United States from the President of the United states. The person's name is Lionel Francis Lorio, appointed him to First Lieutenant in the Medical Section on April 15, 1918. It is signed by two people. The second photo shos a signature under the words By the President and Above the words Assistant Secretary of War. I'm not sure which one that is and I cannot make out the signature. The President of the time was Wilson and it does nto look like that to me. The other signature is above the typed words The Adjutant General and I also cannot make that one out either. In the upper left of the certificate is the seal of the United States War Office. This is a beautiful piece of memorabilia. IT's in really nice shape with browning and some light brown speckles, but not many. Really nice looking. framed in a nice old wood frame.Large certificate with a stunning engraving.What a piece of historical memorabilia.It's15 1/4inches tall and about12 1/4inches wide.
