The OLLENVO badge “For liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident” v.1 is one of the last departmental badges centrally established in the USSR. This sign was developed and proposed by the Main Political Directorate of the Soviet Army and the USSR Navy no later than 1988 as a single model of the sign for military personnel who took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident. The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986 - the destruction of the reactor of the fourth power unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, located near the city of Pripyat (Ukraine).
