Up on offer is a beautiful set of Islamic prayer beads. Quite old. This is from the moving sale of a local collector who bought many vintage and antique necklaces through the years. The black beads are quite beautiful. My photos don\'t show it well, but the beads have a golden brown veining in them, a kind of gold swirl. I\'m not sure of the material. Perhaps glass. Mounted on a turquoise color thread. The end piece is braided and bound with some kind of metallic threads in two of the five wrapped sections. The turquoise thread that shows is soiled and somewhat worn. It is a remarkable thing from an earlier time. The bead loop is approximately 25 inches. The total length is almost 32 inches.
