Nice Simple Shavette? Silver and Gold Tones This simple shavette consists of a single bar type handle of gold and silver tones.I believe that the gold tones on the top portion of the handle are a result of plating loss and wear.The bottom portion of the handle has knurling or texture, to improve the grip.There is a "slot" in the upper portion of the handle, which I believe is to hold a single edge blade.The top portion of the blade currently placed in the handle seems to be too wide (wider than the slot) to fit properly in the handle.I have seen older razor "sets" that include a shavette. Perhaps you need one to complete an old set?This shavette handle is approximately 4" in total length.
