This is a gorgeous 9 Patch Amish quilt, with a little extra! A \"typical\" 9 Patch Amish quilt has open space between the colorful Patch squares. In the case of this quilt, the quilter took the extra step of placing appliqued hearts in each open square - all in colors and fabrics that coordinate with the 9 Patch squares. There is so much hand quilting in this quilt. In addition to hand quilting around every appliqued heart, you\'ll see that every side of each of the 9 squares of fabric that make up 9 Patch squares is hand quilted.
