Nelfa Querubin Tompkins Vintage Vessel. Highly Collectible. It is becoming harder and harder to find Nelfa\'s work. She stopped making pottery some time ago. She pioneered studio pottery in the Philippines during the time when clay was not popular as a fine art medium and ceramic art was ignored by art galleries. Querubin-Tompkins worked hard for 15 years experimenting with local clays, wood-fired kilns and glazes and eventually mastering her medium. Her early success in pottery was recognized when her works were included in the Australian Crafts Council Traveling Exhibit in Asia in 1982.Approx: 9\"H x 8.5\" W x 2.75\" D(At highest, widest and deepest points)Good Pre-owned Condition.
