Story Behind the Art:

Jose Antonio Rios and his family have been dedicated to the traditional art of carving and embossing leather furniture for several generations. Jose Antonio Rios says: 'My family and I are proudly following the traditions, and by incorporating contemporary learnings and designs we are ready to face new challenges. Our creations are totally handmade. After sketching the figures, a piece is embossed with chisel and hammer. Embossed leather is placed on the furniture piece.
