This Genuine Herkimer Diamond, Black-Stem Scepter, was handharvested inManeim, NYat theNorthside Mine. The rod detached from matrix on the bottom. The scepter itself is natural, no repairs.

Rare Black-Stem Anthraxolite Rod "Lollipop" Scepter

This one is a really nice scepter, hugeher black rod with an "Ancient" cap that ha such finedetail including extrabeveled faces including the termination. This is so much better in person. It looks like a mushroom cap as the rod also kind of steps in as the capmushrooms out. Very cool good sized scepter specimen. A true lollipop!

Black Anthraxolite Rod Scepters are amongst the most highly aesthetic, and sought after of all Herkimer Diamonds. Barbellsare thepinnacle and rarest of all the herkimer scepter formations.

The specimen measures39 x 16 x 12in mm

This is from theoriginal "Northside Mine" run before the property was sold to out of state investors and renamed. This deposit is to the North of the crystal valley in Little Falls, and so it was alwaysreferred to as "The Northside". Our mine, Treasure Mountain, is on the Southside of the valley.
