THIS is a gorgeous hikizuri kimono! I picked this piece up because the print on it instantly reminded me of the Miyako Odori blue kimono that the Maiko of Gion Kobu wear and I thought someone else might enjoy it for the same reason. This is a fresh, brand new hikizuri kimono; it will need the basting threads removed from it before wearing, it is that new. Look how bright and brilliant the fabric is; the lining is gleaming; the hems don\'t even have a smudge. This *is* a synthetic piece, but even new synthetic hikizuri sell at minimum $400 direct from the vendor; and those usually aren\'t furisode hikizuri like this piece. This is a good quality synthetic, you know it\'s synthetic when you touch it, but you\'ll also know it\'s not a cheap, plastic-y feeling synthetic. This feels more on the cotton side of synthetic; and the fabric is thin in a light way that it should breath really nicely. This is a really long hikizuri, so if you\'re tall, this might be the piece you\'ve been looking for. This would also be an excellent piece for cosplay if you\'re looking to do Maiko cosplay without worrying about the troubles of a hot convention with an expensive silk kimono. Obviously perfect for nihon buyo. I only ship within the continental US + Alaska + Hawaii. I cannot ship to APO/military bases overseas. I do not deal with customs forms at all, this is just a side thing I do for enjoyment, and international shipping just gives me really big anxiety. I also do not have a printer and overseas prepaid labels require a printer and cannot be generated with a QR code which is how I ship all my packages via USPS. Thank you for understanding.
