NEW! SH2259 Hanwei Practical Plus Tanto by Paul ChenThe Practical Plus Tanto (SH2259) matches our Practical Plus Katana (SH2073) and Wakizashi (SH2118). The blade is hand-forged at Hanwei ofhigh-carbon steel and differentially hardened using a traditional claying method (HRC 60 edge, HRC 40 spine). The temper line (hamon) is evident and prominent. The flat black saya features a black cotton sageo. The tsuka has genuine ray skin (same) with a black synthetic leather tsuka-ito for better gripping qualities.
