DOWEL PIN ONLY FOR A KICKSTAND, NO KICKSTAND FOR SALE HERE... this is a NEW,correct, made in the USA, better alloy steel replacement dowel pin for your post war Schwinn kickstand that Captain America is featuring...just the dowel pin is for sale here, and the kickstand shown in the picture isto show the pin location... when your kickstand is sagging and loose, it is this pin that is usually the problem, the cam side of sprag can be worn as well but usually not, a quick visual when you have your kickstand apart will tell you if the dowel pin is still round...IF IT LOOKS LIKE A HALF-ROUND, it is shot, time to replace ityears ago... Schwinn worn kickstand pin replacement 101...shown in pictures: force the kickstand inward, into the vise jaws and tighten the jaws, to release tension on the pin... with a punch, knock the worn pin thru and out... then put a fresh pin in the hole, and tap it in, it should line up with the big washer side to side...
