Rare original vintage cabinet card photograph of famous American actress Nella Bergen taken by the famous Chicago theatrical photographer William McKenzie Morrison.This is a vintage cabinet card and not a copy or reproduction. It is inscribed at bottom “Yours Truly Nella Bergen”Nella Bergen (1873 - 1919) She was a famous American actress, known for The Summer Girl (1899). She was married to DeWolf Hopper Sr. and James Dunne Bergen. Her first recorded appearance was in Washington, DC in 1886 (New York Clipper). She died of pneumonia at age 45! Cabinet card photograph measures 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity.
