Shipping is either USPS Priority Mail or USPS Ground Service both with tracking. We only combine shipping for Priority mail shipping limited to what will fit in a flat rate envelope and won within 48 hours of all combined sales. If you think you will want to combine shipping, please notify us ahead of time and please do not pay until we provide a combined shipping invoice.
We run a Boy Scout Museum and exhibit items at local events. Some items that are not in standard rotation or Proceeds from these sales fund new exhibits and acquisitions. We also accept donations or trades. We only sell or trade items we have purchased or were given to us specifically to sell and get a portion as a donation. We never sell or trade any items given to us specifically to exhibit.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE VOLUNTEERS SO WE DO NOT SHIP OUT FAST WHICH IS WHY THERE IS A VERY LONG HANDLING TIME. WE TYPICALLY HAVE MAIL PICK-UPS ONCE A WEEK ON FRIDAYS BUT WHEN THERE ARE SUBSTITUTE CARRIERS, THEY DON’T ALWAYS GET PICKED UP. WE THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR PATIENCE.
Although we do have expertise in certain areas of Scouting memorabilia, our museum is more focused on our local council, and we are not nearly as skilled in many other areas. We have done the best we can in providing details in the item description, but it is the Buyer\'s responsibility to look at all the pictures and make decisions on their own as to what actual issue or variation is being sold. If an item is a known reproduction, it will be identified as such. However, as we do not have expertise in this area, we cannot be held responsible for any reproduction item not identified as such on the patch itself.
Due to the quantity of items and time constraints (and volunteer status), not every item such as neckerchiefs have been completely spread out and checked and therefore signs of use such as dirt or markings may be present in areas not visible during normal presentation in a display based on how it is displayed in the listing. We are not responsible for any such issues.
Note that if an item description says, \"appears to be unsewn,\" it means that it is somewhat \"floppy\" when holding it by the short edge (which one would assume means it was used) but no needle holes along the edges are visible (which one would assume it was not used). This overrides any default fields that may have been recycled from other listings that may say an item is new. In any event, unless the item description actually says, \"unused crisp mint,\" there is no guarantee the patch was not previously used in some fashion. And, once again, it is the Buyer’s responsibility to look at the image to determine if it is the item they want.
Some patches may come with a sound or light chip with a battery hardwired to the chip. These batteries have been expired for some time and are specifically disclosed as being \"dead.\"
AGAIN, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LOOK AT THE ACTUAL PICTURES AND DETERMINE YOURSELF IF IT IS THE ISSUE OR CONDITION YOU WANT!
If you take a virtual tour of the on-line museum and send us a message from the museum site that you visited, what your favorite item is, etc., they can usually offer you a discount on the items you buy here. See what items currently are on exhibit at: www.amimuseum.com. You can also send a note there if you would like to donate any items or provide historical information or corrections.
Please remember that we are volunteers helping on this fundraising effort so it may take a bit of time for use to respond.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES, WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR REFUNDS. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE offerDING ENDS.
