The coin is 1 5/8 inches in diameter with hard baked enamel. Very early Navy SEAL challenge coin--from my understanding this coin was specially made in a limited number and awarded to SEAL warriors in the mid-80s as per written correspondence with me. This coin was acquired in a large collection of military surplus items.
